However, the smell of chlorine was pretty intense. The water and air temperature overall felt warmer than Aquatopia-I wasn’t cold until I left the waterpark. It’s bigger than Aquatopia’s but also seems darker, almost dreary. The middle play structure has lots of slides and water features. Theming wasn’t as good as Aquatopia’s lazy river. ![]() Wave pool is nice, and there are two hot tubs with actual hot water (Aquatopia’s hot tubs are lukewarm.) Lazy river is long, but to get to the other side, you have to sit “properly” in the tube and go over a conveyer belt. There are two different toddler areas, with one being larger aimed at slightly older kids. Lots of slides and rides for the older kids/adults. After the expansion, Kalahari’s waterpark is much bigger than Aquatopia. Bunk bed room at Camelback was larger and more comfortable, with two full-sized bunk beds rather than one small bunk at Kalahari. Rooms are similar, nothing super luxurious about either place. There are more food choices at Kalahari, but IME, overall food quality is better at Camelback. Kalahari has the superior, larger waterpark. If you want more of a vacation/getaway feel, go to Camelback. Camelback/Aquatopia TLDR version: If you are focused only on the waterpark, go to Kalahari. Flowrider was fun, and the lifeguards were helpful showing the basics and even some easy tricks, like.
